India has seen a notable surge in the presence of women entrepreneurs spearheading innovation across diverse sectors. Despite encountering numerous obstacles, many women in the country have showcased resilience, ingenuity, and an impressive capacity to challenge conventional practices. Their endeavors not only stimulate economic development but also serve as inspiration for the next wave of aspiring entrepreneurs.

Recognizing the importance of women entrepreneurs in innovation, the CII CIES annually publishes a compendium titled Women in Innovation (WIN). This compendium aims to acknowledge and honor 50 women founders and co-founders for their groundbreaking technologies, products, services, solutions, or innovations that drive novelty, instigate change, and champion collective impact, thus promoting the growth of Indian startups.

This initiative offers women founders and co-founders of startups access to Corporate Connect (market access), mentorship, awareness, and available funds and resources.

The compendium releases during the CII National Startups Conference- a yearly flagship event.
